Theatre As Research
My first contact with the stage was in Africa, performing poetry, directing a shadow play and writing short stories. The discovery of Moliere's theatre through Ariane Mnouchkine lit my passion. My encounter with Anatoli Vassiliev opened the doors to a different world and taught me how to create and working with Maud Robart, Jerzy Grotowski's collaborator, made me an avid researcher.
